South African marksman Percy Tau scored a brace Friday night as his Al Ahly team beat Esperance 3-0 away from home in Tunisia in a CAF encounter.

Late in the second half Mahmoud Kahraba rounded off a rather easy victory for Al Ahly – record 10-time African champions – with his goal (75′).

Tau’s goals 8′ and 55′ in the semi-final first leg in an empty stadium, following crowd trouble there two weeks ago, have all but secured Al Ahly’s place in the final.
