WATCH: Champions Real Madrid In Comeback 5-2 Win Against Liverpool

Real Madrid came back from two goals down to beat Liverpool 5-2 on Tuesday night at Anfield Stadium in their Champions League round-of-16 first leg.

Liverpool were quick off the mark with a superb Darwin Nunez’s backheel flick opening the scoring for them inside four minutes.

Not long after Mo Salah took advantage of a rare Thibaut Courtois fumble to score the second for the Reds.

The champions, however, showed their class and mettle, by claiming back control of the midfield.

Vinicius Junior scored twice for Real to level the score 2-2 before halftime.

In the second half, Real defender Militao scored his first goal in the Champions League in four years. His bullet header from a corner gave Liverpool keeper Alison no chance to save it.

Captain Karim Benzema did the rest – he scored two goals to make 5-2 for the Los Blancos.
