Spanish champions Real Madrid overcame African giants Al Ahly 4-1 on Wednesday night to reach the final of the FIFA Club World Cup Morocco.
Real Madrid stars Vinícius Júnior, Federico Valverde, Rodrygo, and Sergio Arribas scored to send Los Blancos into Saturday’s final against Saudi Arabia side Al-Hilal.
With the Spanish champions already two goals up, there was some cheer for Al Ahly fans in the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium when the Egyptians won a penalty after striker Hussein El Shahat drew a foul from Real Madrid’s energetic midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
Tunisian Ali Maaloul scored the penalty and only goal for Al Ahly in the 65th minute.
Madrid is chasing its first world club title since 2018.
