Will Smith’s new movie “Emancipation” is just a fortnight away from hitting the theatres.

Smith not only plays the lead he is also a producer of the Apple Original Film that includes costars Ben Foster and Charmaine Bingwa.

In the unsparing new slave Drama, Smith plays Peter – a man who escapes the shackles of slavery through the treacherous swamps of Louisiana.

The movie was inspired by the trials and tribulations faced by the escaped slave best known to history as “Whipped Peter.”

Emancipation hits the theaters on 2 December 2022 and streams on Apple TV+ the following week.
