KZN Legislature Sends Birthday Wishes To King MisuZulu kaZwelithini

The KwaZulu-Natal Legislature on Friday wished the Zulu King MisuZulu kaZwelithini a Happy Birthday.

The King turned 48 today.

“On behalf of all Members and officials of the KwaZulu Natal Legislature, it is my pleasure to take this opportunity to wish Isilo Samabandla, King MisuZulu kaZwelithini a Happy Birthday today,” said the Speaker of the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature Nontembeko Boyce. 

“May your crown remain radiant. Your reign shall be beautiful and peaceful. May your wisdom surpass your predecessors. The ends of the earth shall hear about you for good. You shall bask in wisdom and wealth.

“Not only do you seamlessly adapt to address the emerging challenges from the persistent ones that we face today, and you do that with determination. I hope that the year ahead brings an abundance of success and great prosperity for you.”

Boyce added: “Happy birthday to the first king most of us will ever witness his coronation ceremony. You shall live a fulfilled life as a king. May your glory never diminish.

“Thank you for the emblem of humility you wear with pride. I believe that for as long as you live, you shall lead with wisdom. 

“Your people shall respect you till the end of time. Your visions shall come to pass in no distant time.

“May you accomplish so much in this new year of your life, your regal and glory shine brighter than the sun above us. 

“May you always be the king after the people’s hearts.” 

The Speaker said the KZN Legislature wishes “Isilo Samabandla Onke well”.

The Speaker added: “We pray to the Almighty to grant you more years and abundant energy so that you can continue to fulfil the responsibilities assigned to you by the Zulu Nation. 

“We pray you live long to fulfil the duties set upon you. The soil you walk on shall yield a bountiful harvest. 

“The sun that shines upon you shall never hurt you and your people. Have a remarkable new year, Ndabezitha.

“We say Happy Birthday King MisuZulu kaZwelithini, Bayede, Hlanga Lomhlabathi! Ukhule Njalo.”
