Swallows FC fired coach Dylan Kerr says he knew his goose was cooked the minute he saw the club chairman with a person he previously said was an inspiration.
Swallow FC announced on Wednesday evening that the club had parted ways with coach Kerr following a 4-0 drubbing by Golden Arrows.
After eight games, the club is lying near the foot of the PSL table in 14th place with only 8 points from a possible 24.
Commenting on his sacking Kerr said: “I knew my days were numbered after seeing the chairman with Chippa. He told me Chippa is an inspiration to him”.
Announcing Kerr’s departure, the club said: “Swallows FC has parted ways with Head Coach Dylan Kerr. We would like to thank coach Kerr for the contribution he made to the club and wish him well with his future endeavours”.
Swallows FC Chairman David Mogashoa had earlier this week reportedly denied that Kerr was facing the chop, saying, “he remains the club head coach.”
However, just a couple of days later, the club sacked the Englishman.
