Sixty people were left nursing injuries Thursday morning after their bus crashed along the R37, near Lydenburg Road in Mpumalanga.
Emer-G-Med said paramedics responded to the scene of the bus crash at about 7 am.
“On arrival at the scene, a passenger liner was found to have left the roadway and overturned,” said Emer-G-Med.
“An on-scene triage area was established by incident commanders and additional resources were immediately dispatched by the Emer-G-Med Emergency Operations Centre.
“A total of 60 people suffered injuries ranging from minor to moderate and were treated and stabilised on the scene before being taken to various nearby hospitals for further medical care.
“No fatalities were reported.”
