Royal AM on Friday officially confirmed the appointment of Khabo Zondo as the club’s new head coach.
Zondo replaces football legend John Maduka, who recently quit Royal AM to join Maritzburg United.
The 60-year-old Zondo coach last managed a club five years ago.
Like Maduka, Zondo once coached Bloemfontein Celtics.
Zondo also had a stint at the helm of Golden Arrows and the national Under-20 football side.
Royal AM finished third on the DStv Premiership log last season.
