Jailed singer R. Kelly has been sentenced to 30 years in prison by a US court for racketeering and sex trafficking crimes.

The fallen 55-year-old R&B crooner was convicted last September in New York 

The court found that R. Kelly used his celebrity status to sexually abuse children and women.

Born Robert Sylvester Kelly, the singer of the hit song “I Believe I can Fly” said through his lawyers that he will appeal.
