Manchester City are on the verge of completing the signing of 21-year-old striker Erling Haaland from German Bundesliga football club Borussia Dortmund.
The Norwegian striker for Dortmund and the Norway national team had a medical at City on Monday.
City are ready to trigger the €75 million (£63m/$81m) release clause to bring the 1,94 m tall Haaland to the Etihad Stadium.
Haaland’s dad Alfie played as a right-back or midfielder for City two decades ago.
Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich were all linked with the prolific striker, whose return for Dortmund was 85 goals in 88 games.
