Former South African Airways Board Chairperson Dudu Myeni failed to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday and a warrant for her arrest was issued.
Myeni was said to be in the court precinct, but was too ill to enter the courtroom. As a result the arrest warrant was stayed until her next appearance.
The 58-year-old accused had been scheduled to appear on a matter related to her testimony in the state capture inquiry in which she named a witness after being told not to do so.
The matter was postponed to 14 June 2022.
