Woman Driver Hurt, Man She Ran Over Dies In Durban North

A 35-year-old female driver was left hurt and shaken Tuesday morning after the man she ran over died on the scene in Riverhorse Valley, Durban North.

Emer-G-Med said “Just after 8am on Tuesday” paramedics responded to a report of a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian along the N2 Northbound near the Queen Nandi Drive bridge.

“Reports from the scene are that a male, approximately 30 years of age was struck by a light motor vehicle and suffered fatal injuries. He was declared dead on arrival of paramedics,” said Emer-G-Med.

“The driver of the vehicle, a female approximately thirty-five years of age, suffered minor injuries and was treated and stabilised on scene before being taken to a nearby hospital for further care.”

The police have not said what action, if any, they will take.
