Lucky Pair Survive Light Aircraft Crash In Germiston

Two people were left nursing injuries after their light aircraft crashed into a field in Germiston, Johannesburg, on Saturday.

Emer-G-Med said the light aircraft crashed into a field “just off the M46 Roadway at around midday”.

The emergency respondents added: “A male aged approximately forty years old, has been left with critical injuries whilst another man of approximately thirty-five years old has been left with moderate injuries.”

Emer-G-Med said both men were treated and stabilised on the scene before being taken to a hospital by ambulance.

Civil aviation and law enforcement authorities were on the scene.
