Lalela Mswane has been crowned Miss South Africa at the Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town.
She receives R1 million in cash, the use of a fully-furnished apartment at Central Square Sandton, and a Mercedes Benz C-Class sedan for the year of her reign.
The 24-year-old model, who was crowned Miss SA on Saturday night was born in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal.
As Miss South Africa, Lalela will represent South Africa at either Miss Universe 2021, Miss World 2022, or Miss Supranational 2022.
The runners-up were Moratwe Masima, a doctor from Midrand in Gauteng, and Law degree student Zimi Mabunzi from eQonce in the Eastern Cape. Each runner-up received R175 000 prize money.
