A staffer at the Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) has been implicated in the dodgy R141 million Digital Vibes tender.
GCIS on Thursday said the Special Investigating Unit made a finding against a staff member in the Digital Vibes matter.
“GCIS has set in motion a process to deal with the SIU findings,” said the government communications department.
“This process will determine which cause of action will be taken against the official concerned.”
Earlier on Thursday, Health Minister Dr. Joe Phaahla said six members of his department implicated in the SIU report on the Digital Vibes matter would be suspended by end of business “today”.
Health department Director-General Dr. Sandile Buthelezi was suspended at the weekend over his role in the Digital Vibes saga.
