South Africans who have had a jab can now travel to France.
“The French government has eased travel restrictions to France and it is now possible for fully vaccinated travellers from South Africa to enter France with no test and quarantine restrictions,” said Air France on Wednesday.
France was one of the hardest-hit European countries by the COVID-19 pandemic. By last week Thursday, France had recorded more than 6.6 million cases and 113 240 deaths.
As a result, France has been keeping some of the most stringent COVID-19 restrictions in Europe since 2020.
However, France Air is now offering an exclusive LETSGO2021 discount code to travellers from South Africa.
When booking a flight to France from Johannesburg or Cape Town you receive a 10% discount on your ticket.
“While you’re envisioning your magical trip to France, take our French tour quiz and stand the chance to WIN a fantastique Air France travel hamper to get you excited about what you can experience and explore when you visit,” said Air France.
