Action man Shona Ferguson succumbed to Covid-19 his family reveaved late on Friday.
“It is with great sadness that we confirm the passing of Mr. Shona Ferguson. He passed away at noon today,” said Thato Matuka, the family spokesperson.
“Mr. Ferguson’s untimely passing was due to Covid-19 related complications, and not a heart operation as reported in the media.
“We ask that you give the family time to process this painful loss, and respect their space during this time.”
The Bulrushes earlier reported that the action man of Kings of Joburg fame had been in hospital for a week when he died Friday afternoon at the age of 47. He had complained of chest pains.
Shona’s real name was Aaron Arthur Ferguson.
He was the executive producer and co-founder of Ferguson Films, which he owned with his wife, Connie Ferguson.
