Kaizer Chiefs finally arrived home safely from Morocco after their fight was delayed because of mechanical problems.
The CAF Champions League silver medalists were initially expected to arrive on Monday.
“After a long trip, challenges, colourful and cultural experiences in the beautiful city of Casablanca, the Glamour Boys and staff arrived safely from Morocco this morning,” said Kaizer Chiefs on Wednesday.
“We want to say a big shout out to the supporters who met us at the airport. Thank you for coming through.”
The Soweto giants didn’t get the gold, but the runner’s up prize was a cool US $1.25 million (R18 million).
