Snog Video Ends Love Rat Hancock’s Covid-19 Job, Marriage

British media on Sunday splashed the sordid details of how married Health Secretary Matt Hancock asked everyone to follow strict Covid-19 regulations yet he couldn’t keep any social distance from his assistant.

Hopes of freedom from tough Covid-19 restrictions were recently dashed when Hancock extended the regulations by a month.

Pictures and video of the health secretary in an embrace with aide Gina Coladangelo did the rounds sending cooked up Britons up the pole.

So when fed up Britons found out that Hanock was not keeping his hands to himself and his mouth under a mask they wanted him out.

Earlier on Saturday his boss, Premier Boris Johnson said Hancock had apologised for his indiscretions and the matter was behind him.

However, no one was having any of it. As the hours went by the pressure mounted.

With no wriggle room left, Hancock – who had been married for 15 years – fell on his sword.

“I understand the enormous sacrifices that everybody in this country has made, that you have made, and those of us who make these rules have got to stick by them and that’s why I have got to resign,” wrote Hancock in his resignation letter.

Predictably British tabloids did what they do best – splashed Hancock’s dirty laundry on their screaming front pages.

“Hancock Quits His Job – And Marriage,” said The Mail on Sunday.

“Hopeless and Jobless,” was the heading for Sunday People.

“Matt Finished,” wrote the Sun with the subhead “Hypocrite Hancock Quits Over Snog Video”.

Early on Sunday Coladangelo announced she was quitting her government job.
